It's probably those of us who said 'no more' that are first in the queue to enter for the following Comrades. In my case I would like to finish Comrades in a good time but more importantly to feel good at the end - to be able to punch my fist in the air and say 'I've nailed you!'
As for doing Comrades year after year - well as a runner it gives you a goal to work towards! And when that goal in conquered it leaves you fit enough to take on other challenges like MTBing, trail running, hiking and anything else you may set your mind to.
Fortunately we live in 'sunny' SA where we can do all these things.
SOOO - see you at Comrades 2010!!!
